Happy weekend Hox'ers! How about all those exciting things that are happening in the real world? Let's step into Dr. Doom's time machine and check out some classic X-Men (and women!) Action!
First up we explore X-Men number 48! Those plucky teens Scott Summers and Jean Grey battle Computo by Radio Shack, a Tandy Company! For you young folks out there, Radio Shack used to be a place to go and buy electronics parts to fix your broken toaster instead of buying a new one! There is also a five page continuation of the origin of the Beast where he talks a LOT! Spoiler Alert!
Next up we gaze into the future of the X-Men with What If... #13! We explore the possibility of Professor X becoming the Juggernaut instead of Cain Marko! Will he protect the universe, or will he call everyone bitch while introducing himself?!? You will have to listen in to find out!

It's the end of the X-Men as we know it, and I feel fine! Welcome back to you our bookish friends! We are diving into some of the last third of the original X-Men shenanigans!
First up we take a look at X-Men 46. We are dealing with the aftermath of the death of a major character, and the Juggernaut shows up to whoop some candy asses! Back in the sixties you could buy candy asses at the soda fountain along with Coca-Cola with actual cocaine in it. Just kidding! They took the coke out of Coke in the thirties! The backup in this issues wraps up the origin of everyone's pal Iceman!
Next is X-Men 47, featuring the bodacious Beast and the incredible Iceman! They team up to fight a villain we thought (hoped) we would never see again! Bobby and Hank take Vera and Zelda out for a double date (ACTUALLY, Vera and Zelda take out Bobby and Hank) and that's where all the trouble starts! Hypotism, Superman style shenanigans, and some old fashioned trickery give us this team up tale! And in the backup, we meet the Beast again for the first time! He's sexist, his world bubbles take up half a page, he's THE BEAST!

It's New Year, New Episode! We had some audio issues with the first upload. They were minor, but they bugged me enough that I had to go back and fix them so I could sleep tonight! Those X-Men fever dreams when you are prepping to record the next episode can be weird! Sweaty night terrors aside, we have some great stuff going on today in the form of X-Men 45 and Avengers 53! Will we find out anything about a boat named Sue? Will Roger get the numbering for the issues in time to read them in the bathroom? Will Shane make sure to include all the music in the episode? All this, plus the Black Knight, Magneto, and a unanimous decision to punch Toad too!

Today on the House of X we are going to take a peek into two senses shattering issues, X-Men 43 and 44! First up in issue 43 we deal with the fallout from issue 42! With Professor X gone, how messed up is it that Cyclops os still only the deputy leader of the team? And in the backup we learn all about Scott's powers and how they work (to be retconned in issue 44)!
Next up is issue 44, where everyone got really sick of Toad and started thinking Magneto was right to be mean to him! I think at this point the entire book club has Stockholm Syndrome and are siding with our captor Magneto! In the backup we start to learn all about Bobby Drake, the Iceman! Well, not all about, some things stay secret for a few decades, but the signs are there! Join us for the ride, won't you?

Today on the House of X we experience some type 2 nonsense! An no amount of Metformin will ever decrease the levels! In our first issue we explore X-Men 40 where those lanky teens battle Frankenstein! Or at least a reasonable robot facsimile! He's tall and has bolts in his neck, but does he have the ability to love?
In our second sugar coated tale we jump in like Scrooge McDuck into a pile of gold. We swim around in Avengers number 49! Hercules battles a fella named Typhon, who tries to use his storytelling powers to lull Hercules and the readers to sleep! AND Magneto tries to bully his way into the UN! It seems that villains think that being a dillhole will get them membership to various political organizations!

Welcome back X-Men lovers, we have two barn burning issues for you today, X-Men 39 Avengers 48! And by barn burners we mean dumpster fires...
First we have the (anti) climatic battle between the X-Men and Factor Three! It was a long winding road to get here so surely they will stick the landing! Anyone? Hello? In the backup we see how Professor X began his life of crime. Wait, this one is about Cyclops! In the backup story we see how Professor X used Scott Summers to begin his life of crime. There, so much better!
Next up is Avengers 48, continuing the face off between the Avengers and Magneto. In this issue we find out that Hawkeye should have been put in prison for animal cruelty decades ago! Maybe in the sixties you could get away with shooting a flying horse with a harpoon and climbing aboard to strangle the rider, but not today pal! Times sure have changed!
