Next up is X-Men 99, continuing the story from 98! The X-Pals have broken out of their tubes and are floating in space. The rest of the team blasts off for the rescue, will they make it in time? Only one way to find out, so listen in!

House of X Book Club Episode 54 - Cyclops Must Pod!

   Just when you thought it was safe to return to the pod, There's a rumble from the darkest corners of space and the world will never be the same! Or, you know, someone had too much Taco Bell.
   But what an episode! We have Eric the Red, Nightcrawler the Blue, and a Widow the Black! 
   First up, we dive into X-Men 97. Eric the Red returns, and fight Cyclops, which is a little awkward. One, because that outfit leaves NOTHING to the imagination, and two, Scott Summers' multiple personalities are just tiring. 
Our second read is Champions number three? Best thing about this one? It's the end of the story! I wonder if that weird harness makes Hercules' nipples chaff? Listen in and maybe we will find out!

House of X Book Club Episode 53 - The Pod of Blaastar!

Cone on in Book Clubbers, we have some great stuff for you today! And Champions number 2 as well!
 
First up we dive into X-Men 96. It's the first appearance of one of the most important people from the Krakoan Era, besides Krakoa itself. Also, the X-Men fight a moose with a woman's face! Not really, but I would totally read that one.
 
Next up we have Champions 2, where Ghost Rider goes to Malibu for an enema, Angel and Black Widow do some beach grieving, and Iceman goes to WeHo and becomes Icetwink! Again, some of that may or may not happen, you will just have to listen to find out which statement is true!

Come on in Blue Retrievers, and have a sit by the fire! We are gonna be spinnin' some yarns for ya, and have we got a couple of doozies for ya today!
 
First off, we dive on in to X-Men 95, Featuring the antics of Count Nefaria and his Ani-Men! They all get to a'hootin and a'hollerin, and the X-Men come to save the day! No way this one turns out poorly for anyone on the team!
 
Next up we have Champions number one, because everyone needs to know what happens when Angel and Iceman team up with a god, a demon, and a lady with a broken heart. They move in together, open a Taco Bell franchise, and maybe even find love? All this plus some weird Roman/Greek good hybrid thing on a very special episode of Cheers!

Welcome back book club clubbers, we have a humming dinger for you today! Are you ready? Do you have your water wings on? Then let's dive in!
First up we jump in to X-Men 94. We are still basking in the afterglow of our wonderful Giant Sized last issue, but we are getting into the thick of it with the return of Count Nefaira! He and his new Pound Puppy crew are causing a ruckus, and only the X-Men can stop him!
 
Next is a trip forward in time for a look back! We jump ahead and Read What If Volume 2 number 9, where we as What if the New X-Men died on Their First Mission? Honestly it's a miracle that Chuck hasn't killed these children a thousand times over by this point, but we will go ahead and focus on this one time.

Clone babies, football games, dead parents in bed, and Professor X plummeting from the sky in a wheelchair! And the biggest shock of all, he's not really a Professor! All that and Medusa in a story so big, it had to be Giant Sized!
