House of X Book Club Episode 44 - Pod Raven, Pod Raven!

Once more into the weird, good mutants! Welcome back to another episode of the pod that dares to ask, "Can there ever be too much Beast?" 
 
On today's episode, Hawkeye is a butthole! Wait, that's all the episodes with Hawkeye in them... Vision and Scarlet Witch are here as well! Quicksilver doesn't like Hawkeye horning in on his butthole racket so he cranks it up a notch. Plus Magento shows up, so we have the aa hat trifecta!
 
Next up is Hulk 161, where we get our weekly dose of Beast on Beast action! Or more accurately, Beast on Hulk action, but still, there's some punches a comin'! Plus the Mimic is here, can't seem to have an X-Men appearance without one of the mutant sour puss club showing up! What sort of mischief will these three get up to? Listen in and find out!

First up is Amazing Adventures 12, where the Beast throws down with Iron Man! See, back in the day, Iron Man wasn't the heavy hitter he is now, so catching fists from a newly transformed Hank McCoy wasn't so outside his wheelhouse! BUT, the ladies still loved him, even back when he smelled like a moonshine still!
 
Next up is Avengers number 102! Hawkeye is creepy, Vision has a family reunion, and Quicksilver is a butthole! All this and the Black Panther too!

House of X Book Club Episode 38 - Humanity has NEVER Faced a Deadlier Disaster than PODSDAY!!!

Welcome Children of the Atom, to the penultimate episode of the first AGE OF X!!! We are going to look at two issues of X-Men that contain some awesome characters as well as some questionable choices, X-Men 63 and 64!
First up, more action in the Land that is Savage, with Ka-Zar and Zabu! Fun fact the Sade song from 1985 was originally titled "Sweetest Zabu!" Not really. I just made that up. BUT! He is in this book, along with all of the oddest teens of all!
Next up is X-Men 64, with the blazing hot Sunfire joining the lexicon! A complicated back story? Check! Anguished teenager? Check! Bossy Father figures? Check! Something tells me he's going to be around for quite some time! After he gets out of prison of course! Why did he go to prison? You'll have to listen in!

Like a cracked mirror of nonsense, this whole issue is Doctor Strange going the long way around to fill out a change of address form with the USPS. The Juggernaut shows up with all his undelivered mail, and chaos ensues! lower case 'c' chaos, not 'C'haos. They have not shown up in any of our reading yet.
Next in the tube we have X-Men #60! This is it! We are in the final stretch! In this issue, the most dino-tastic villain in X-History shows up and does what X-Men villains do, repent and walk slowly into the forest. Wait, not this time! Something different happens!
